Welcome to Barber Preparatory Academy

Welcome to Barber Preparatory Academy—Home of the Eagles! We are a tuition-free, public community school in the Highland Park School District open to all PK-8 students. We teach an accredited, college prep curriculum and use technology daily in each classroom to accelerate student learning and readiness. Our school is newly under the management of ACCEL Schools, an established and award-winning public charter school operator. Our safe, secure campus features a brand new school library and we offer full-day, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs.
